Beautiful mid-century (1950s–1960s) Spanish damascene banjo brooch, crafted in the classic Toledo style with gold-inlay detailing along the neck and headstock. The round banjo body features a luminous mother-of-pearl–style disc, and the raised metal “strings” and engraved flourishes highlight the level of handwork typical of early Spanish damascene.
